OG Dogs came to launch their New York street/HipHop inspired hot dogs and burgers. Symbolized by an illustration dog mascot in streetwear, the brand needed to reflect the attitude behind the culture that inspired the owners while also being unique and visually striking.
Containing many components from photographic texture to illustration, the brand’s look was simple in certain areas and chaotic in others. The logotype is reminiscent of baseball and soft drink script with a slight nod to a well know classic. The mascot was drawn in the aggressive style of American sports mascots, but also brought a tinge of humour to the brand. Street textures served as our background for products adding an element of rawness which backed up the philosophy of simple street food brimming with flavour.
All in all OG Dogs captures the essence of New York Street food prepared with care and served with passion. This project was done under Blackbook Ink, murals by Brode Compton – Director. Video by Chris Woe. Social media by Honey Collective.
